What Happens When You Call: Our 6-Step Roofing Process
Complete transparency from the first free inspection through final permit sign-off. You always know what's happening and what comes next.
- 01
You Call (Day 1)
We book your free inspection — same-day or next-morning in most Calgary locations during storm season. We ask about your address, the storm date, and any visible damage you've noticed from ground level.
What you do: Note the storm date and approximate size of hailstones if observed. Take ground-level photos of your property before we arrive if possible. Do not climb on the roof. - 02
Free Inspection (Day 1–2)
Our experienced inspector accesses the roof with proper safety equipment and documents every impact point on every slope. We use test squares (a standardised counting method), a tape measure, and a camera. You receive a written report with impact density by zone.
What you do: Walk through the findings with the inspector. Ask questions. Receive the written report — it's yours regardless of whether you proceed with us. - 03
Insurance Claim Support (Days 2–14)
We file the claim date of loss notification, provide your written inspection report, and (with your written permission) attend the adjuster walkthrough to present our independent assessment. We negotiate any scope discrepancies and advise you on supplement rights.
What you do: Contact your insurer to open the claim. Do not sign any 'final release' forms until we've reviewed the approved scope with you. - 04
Scope & Contract (Days 5–10)
Once the claim scope is approved, we provide a detailed contract with materials specification, timeline, and permit plan. We order materials immediately upon contract signing — no waiting in a queue.
What you do: Select your shingle colour and product line from our samples. Sign the contract. That's it — we handle everything else from here. - 05
Permit & Materials (Days 7–14)
We apply for the City of Calgary (or Rocky View County) roofing permit. Materials are typically delivered 3–5 business days after order. We coordinate delivery to your driveway and schedule the installation crew.
What you do: Nothing — we manage permit application, material delivery coordination, and crew scheduling. - 06
Installation (Days 14–17)
Full tear-off to the deck. Ice-and-water shield at all eaves, valleys, and penetrations. New underlayment. Full system installation with matching accessories. Nail sweep daily. Final photo documentation.
What you do: You can remain in your home throughout. We clean up before leaving each day. Final walkthrough is with you before we close out.
